pH test pen

• in the form of a felt-tip pen, it enables a quick check of the pH value of paper, cardboard and cardboard
• the purple color of the dried line indicates a pH value of 7.0 or higher
• a yellow, gray or colorless line indicates a pH value below 6.5
• the results may be unreliable if colored papers or papers that have a coating on them are checked

Paper that is well-made, carefully used and stored in the prescribed conditions can have a long life even though its pH value is low (up to 6.0). In order for paper to last for centuries in today’s polluted environment, it must have an alkaline reserve, i.e. a pH of 7.0 or higher.
